My year long project was a factory called INKit. This is the first chapter of the project which focuses on a small part of the site - the entrance into the factory. The factory cleans air and out of the collected air pollution it produces carbon based ink. This idea came from my research of how Brexit will effect air quality in the UK. My project is located in Shoreham-by-Sea in the Shoreham Cement Works. Brexit will untie agreements between the EU and the UK and will leave the UK to police itself.
This half of my project is setting up the world of INKit set in 2022 and out lining my speculations about how Brexit will effect the EU. As a part of creating this glum fantastic world I made a respirator, employee personal kit, fake newspapers and design the entrance into the factory.
The final outcome of this mini project was an installation of my lead character's office. This mini project is the first half of my year long final project called INKit Factory.

Journey through the INKit Decontaminator

Cement Works at Shoreham-by-sea
As a part of site research I set up a narrative through creating newspapers from the future

One of the initial tasks was to introduce our company.
I made an employee personal kit containing a respirator, sampling ampoule, key card and a leaflet outlining how to use your respirator and sampling ampoule.

Alongside developing the identity of INKit, I developed the main character of my project - Samantha Price, CEO
